Daughter of William M. and Edith Belcher Lyall. Wife of (1) Unknown and (2) Daniel Thompson. While her Virginia birth certificate identifies her name to be "Rosa Alice" and her West Virginia marriage license says "Alice," some US Cenus data lists her name as "Rosa F." and the Social Security information filed by her daughter, Willa Mae, says "Rosa Forster." Her West Virginia marriage license identies her to be a widow and in the 1930 US Census her name is listed as Rosa Hawkins, so her first husband may have been a Hawkins. No marriage license has been found to date to support that hypothesis.
