According to the Norman Inventory and TC Hatfield notes, Vandalia was the daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Crabtree Hatfield, although her name does not show up as Vandalia in US Censuses with Jacob and Rebecca. She was the wife of Jeremiah "Jerry" Hatfield, the son of George and Causby Blackburn Hatfield. She died between 1910 and 1920.
